The points that we find most interesting:
- You will utilize the barber shop to change your druid’s looks.
- So far, only bear and cat form updates have been announced.
However, we can’t help but hope for updates to everything that Blizzard can easily update in the game, as they find the resources: crit chicken, tree of laugh, seel form, shaman wolf and priest shadowform, just to name a few.
While we’re at it, we suggest the following are made so that they come with a choice of various looks for the player:
- Succubus
- Paladin charger
- Void walker
- Jaina Proudmore
What would you like to see Blizzard update and offer a choice of looks on next?
They announced that they have no intention of changing the Ghost Wolf. /Cry
I would love to see the Ghost Wolf back, yes.
I want them to update the old character models. The Blood Elves and Draenei have much more detailed facial textures than the other races. Humans and Troll males especially. Human males all look like they have a cleft palate.
About darn time I say. I love the fact that the Tauren models look cooler (at least imo).
Next all they need to do is fix Tauren cats. My FEMALE Tauren should not turn into a MALE lion with HORNS. Transexual lion with big, stupid horns? No thank you.
An even more scantily clad succubus would make me a happy boy.

The new bear forms are awesome, and I can’t wait to see more! …but…
Quite a few players are bringing up the following complaints:
a) They don’t want their druid forms to be tied to the color of their druid’s skin or hair (i.e. “I have magenta hair, but i don’t want to be a magenta cat”)
b) They want their druid forms to reflect their character’s level or the epicness of their gear (“my bear will still look the same if I’m wearing Tier 8 epix or just a tabard and a smile”).
I think that Blizzard could implement these model changes in a way that would address both of these issues: if they were treated like the different mage polymorphs, which have the same basic function but are different spells in your spellbook.
If each cat/bear form was a different spell, and there was a variety of ways of obtaining those spells (quests, reputation rewards, rare drops, trainers, etc), then:
a) Druids could most likely get the model they wanted and still keep the current look of their character
b) There could be an amount of prestige in obtaining a certain model of Bear or Cat Form instead of trying to make the forms reflect the prestige of your armor, etc.
Say you want to be a tiger… you go to Stranglethorn where you do a quest to save a tiger from becoming an Ogre flag and voila! You are now a tiger and ready for fite!
Say you want to be a polar bear… perhaps someone in Winterspring might sell a tome for the Polar Bear Form.

They really need to make new models for Humans, yes. Bloody ugly, in my opinion, that’s why I never even go near ‘em.
Hogger needs an update. His gear is looking a little ragged after the last 5 years of pwnage.
How about a change in the base player-models? increase the polycount and texture maps. But add in the option to keep the old ones as well for those still playing on their 486.
Have Rexxar be part of a new quest chain out in Northrend. He’s just all so lonely out there wandering in Desolace… where no one ever goes… Rexxar needs a more involved role, like what’s been going on in the comic books.
They should just have new scrollers (or another panel to the side of the original) in the barber shop letting you choose your own bear & cat forms. 4-5 more values attached to the character shouldn’t make a big deal.
Overall it’s gonna be great. Just gotta change their mind on the Ghost Wolf.
