Blizzard seems to have realized that getting the meta-achievement Brewmaster is a bit more difficult than originally anticipated. Specifically, it requires that you spend (and therefore earn in the first place) a whopping 552 tokens that can only be gotten during Brewfest. With the initial quests and a fair clip of 40-50 tokens earned per day thereafter, that’s 9-12 days of effort and only 14 days to do it. Bornakk said:

Will you need to two extra days to complete your goals? Is two extra days enough?
I think the 2 extra days is more of the quick bandaid for the holiday. Any more days and you kind of dilute the holiday as is relates to the calendar. The real issue is that the main way for making tokens is with the keg delivery pseudo quest, which by the way, you only know about if you happen to talk to the harness giver again. I don’t think he has a blue quest marker. I notice it has been difficult for many to understand and optimize their key delivery. I notice alot of ram exhaustion, alot of inefficient delivery patterns. Once you got past the initial quests, you only have 25 guaranteed tokens a day, and as I mentioned, are then left with a very nebuluas token earning pseudo quest. Oh, and the barker quest isn’t the most fun or absolute either…though it is unique.
Maybe next year they will add a couple more daily quests that give guaranteed tokens and minimize the frustration from ram exhaustion!
Thanks to the fine folks in AIE letting me know about this, you can actually get the Brewmaster achievement with only 350 tokens. Just buy all the gear for Disturbing the Peace (wait until you can buy it all at the same time). Go do your drunken dance in Dalaran, and then return all the gear to get your 350 tokens back. Then buy the Brew Of The Month membership, the hops, and treat yourself to a Pink Elekk with the leftovers.
It’s important to note that you only have two hours to return the gear for the refund, so don’t buy the gear unless you’ve got time to dance and return it in the same session.
I’m not sure you NEED 552 tokens to be ‘Brewmaster’ as you can buy the garb, do the hammered dance, then return the gear. You can then get the BotM club membership. I make that 350…
i think you may find that only @350 tokens is needed. get the @350 tokens buy the outfit, get the achievement and then resell the clothes back, get the membership card etc.
As it has been mentioned I did the 350 method of buying the clothes and returning them then buying my brewfest of the month membership (and the pet) and I dropped 50 tokens on the ground. So I finished last weekend… I think offerign the extra two days was needed though, if you didn’t know about the custume return or perhaps collecting costumes is your thing then ways to make tickets were very limited and I had the ram delivery quest screw me a few times… I would randomly not toss the barrel back and so be stuck and out of time or he would not let me do the quest even though I had not done it for at least 12 hours but usually 24, couple times I ran right by a applt bucket and it didn’t reset my fatigue. It was a glitchy and inconsistent way to get tickets and before I learned about clothing return trick I was very concerned I would not make it, in fact 2 extra days would have been much reprivce at all really had I needed all 552 tokens. god help people that would like fun items like the keg or the pet… they need more dailies really. 1 thats dependant onm timing and participation and one based on things not glitching and going well every day is pretty harsh

After negotiations were over, Blizzard could only get two more days worth of work from the dwarvish Brewery guild. (I know I’m a member.)
I feel two days is more then enough. I have missed 4 days of the event, missed as many ram courier races and obtained. 832 tokens. Considering how many alts I did the race for I really did get burned out doing them. If you can obtain 350 tokens from doing the two dailies for the 14 days of the event. That does not count the additional tokens from racing or the quests involving the event.
The extended two days in my opinion makes up for the fact that the Dark Dwarf attack did not work well on every server for the first two days of the event.
