As of 11AM PDT, we can assuredly report that the next BlizzCon convention will not be held in Las Vegas. A Blizzard source has assured us that the rumor on this subject is just that. Furthermore:
- Blizzard is not commenting on whether or not the next BlizzCon will be held in 2010.
- Blizzard is not commenting on why their name is associated with the Las Vegas Convention Center calendar.
- Blizzard is not commenting on where the next BlizzCon may be held.
That last point is key. Wherever the next BlizzCon is held, it will not be in Las Vegas.

The last point tells us that Blizzcon won’t be there, however point 2 tells us that something regarding Blizzard will be going on there… Or at least that’s what I get out of it

Sadly the possibilities are too numerous for effective speculation. Ranges from a HUGE StarCraft2 Release part, to another WorldWide Invite, to… anything really. Curse you and your secrecy Blizzard

thats a shame its not in las vegas. I live close there, would have been a dream come true. also love the new site design. it pops a hell of a lot more. its nice. i would like to suggest one thing, ive noticed that you say sometimes…”we dont really want to get into it too much here…” on certain subjects. Mostly pertaining when you go over talent changes and specs. But being the world of warcraft podcast…..shouldnt you go into it as far as you can? I mean, you do the podcast so i dont have too right?
