Ive just finished listening to the show (yes, I know its a bit late :) .
But anyhow, you were talking about the new patch 3.3 and potential for making money.
I’m a raider and I have a number of alts, these alts simply make things to support my raider. I do sell excess stuff.
So, as I’m pretty much topped out with gear and have been for a little while now, I have been making excess stuff that I know the raiders will want.
Gems: making many REDS +spell and +strength, YELLOWS +int, BLUE +stam (not cutting any as yet).
Flasks & Pots: not making any here, just simply saving HERBS, only making enough to support my raiding.
Enchants: Getting all the mats together for all my raiding chants + others.
Mining: storing Saronite, prospecting cobalt and titanium. Making and Selling (now) as many titantium Steel bars as I can, not stocking it, making one daily and selling it. Because I think it won’t be worth as much after patch.
Inscription: making many vellumns, plus the Raiding glyphs for all classes.
All my herbalists are out herbing whenever they can. Getting tons of stuff but I’m not selling it yet. Same with my miners … they are getting ore … lots of it! All levels of herbs and ore.
Plus I’m doin dailys and earning gold now.
I’m trying to spend 2 hours per day just doing this stuff.

I don’t get this weeks title “That Panda Punched Me In The Face!”
I didn’t hear anything related to it in the podcast. Did I miss something?

Just a heads up…the quickfire question “I’m coming at your base with two rockvees and an ambo…” is a quote from the internet show Pure Pwnage (www.purepwnage.com) which is also where BOOM Headshot comes from. It’s hilarious!

During the Quick Fire Question segment, Randy says “you skipped a question.” I thought premise of QFQ is that questions are not shared before hand so answers are spontaneous.

Normally I will let stuff like this pass, but the amount of people who hear this podcast concerns me when you guys start putting out misinformation. Haste is NOT GOOD for Hunters!

All Hunter shots except Auto Shot and Steady Shot are instant. The Hunter’s Global Cooldown IS NOT AFFECTED BY HASTE. It is 1.5 seconds and stays that way. Therefore, as a Hunter, if you have enough Haste to bring Steady Shot’s cast time down to the GCD, it becomes a nearly useless stat.

I know this isn’t a theorycrafting podcast, but when I hear information like this, all it does is contribute to misinformed players.

**Yes, this will change in Cataclysm, but for anyone playing a Hunter right now, Haste is only marginally useful**

I’m going to add to sherretz comment and say that the statements made about haste are 100% false. It does not chop off X% of the cast time of a spell or ability. It merely allows you to cast that % more spells in the time it took to cast 1. In other words, 1% haste really means you can cast 101 spells in the time to cast 100.

Or to put in better terms to understand why they were wrong, 100% spell haste would mean that you could cast 2 spells in the time to cast one (which is equivalent to 50% reduced casting time).

Check out WoWwiki to check out the real info on haste.
