The fabled third wing of Icecrown Citadel – called The Crimson Hall – opened for business this week, bringing the current in-game story back around to focus on the San’layn, those crazy vampire blood elves we’ve been taking out all over Northrend for over a year now, with a culminating encounter with their Queen. She’s got wings!

-Q. If damage and healing is too much per health ratio, then why don’t you have battlegrounds/arenas give a -30% damage/healing debuff?
A. We have been talking about solutions like that. It might feel a bit awkward, but it might also solve the problem and maybe it’s okay in the last season before an expansion to experiment a little bit.
-Q. When we reach level 58 in Cataclysm on Azeroth do we need to go to Outlands or can we continue leveling in Azeroth?
A. You eventually need to do the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King content. Azeroth will have a break in content between 60 and 80.
-Q. For those of us who collect tabards and armor sets, do you see a way for us to store and not use our very limited inventory?
A. Yes. We’d like to store them the same way you do titles. In general, we don’t want to punish the packrats out there who just like to collect stuff.
-Q. What will Cataclysm have to offer for solo players?
A. Cataclysm has a ton of new quests both in the new zones and in old familiar areas. There will be just a ton to do. Also if you’re a completionist casual type, one word: Archaeology.
-Q. Can we expect a Canadian style pet for the Olympics this year?
A. I will put in a request today for an epic moose mount, not sure if it will make it in though.
-Q. What’s up with the pineapple wallpaper in Gadgetzan?
A. You will soon see in Cataclysm that goblins have a somewhat inscrutable sense of taste. They also like tropical drinks.

Hey guys great show as alway. Just wanted to make a quick Comment about how could replace. Arthus as the Litch King, and Im thinking its going to be Lady Sylvanas. Mostly because of A. Roumors she is not goin to be in Catta.(I dout that she will not be.) B. She is already Leader of the forsaken.
and C. She is already at the “Ice Cream Citadel.”
Just thought I toss that out there to see what everyone thinks. Oh and as far as Im hearing its not going to be Thrall. He is leaving the Hored. To become a stonger shamen to try and heal the planet after its ripped a new one.

Three corrections for the show, not sure if others have mentioned them, I’m sure you’ll get some emails.
1) Archeology is a secondary profession, so not sure why Scott would have to drop one of his professions for it. Every one can do it.
2) Randy mentioned his Salty title, but catching Old Crafty (and Old Ironjaw) is not a requirement of it.
3) Croc in the City quest outside of Shatt no longer allows easy catching of Old Crafty/Ironjaw, was fixed in patch 3.0.8.
Yeah, I knew I screwed up on Archeology as soon as I said it and never got around to correcting myself.
I noticed that you suggested “Infinite Ignore” as a helpfull addon for LFG…
Infinite Ignore is not usefull for it, since it does not and could not tell the server about the ignores. Meaning, you will be put in a group with someone you ignore – but you won’t see them in Chat.
Only help you gt from it is if you want to clean up tradechat….or someone bothering you.
In response to Needledeath’s comment about Sylvanas replacing Arthas as the Lich King. The lore seems to suggest that Sylvanas and the Forsaken WILL play a (fairly major) role in cataclysm, and personaly, I can’t see Sylvanas leading the Forsaken from the Frozen Throne, a more likely suggestion is a character to whom the Wrath of the Lich King storyline includes more often and plays a larger role, eg. Darion Mograine, Tirion Fordring, Bolvar Fordragon
I had to take out my headphones and IMMEDIATELY come here to comment when I heard what was said about Books of Glyph mastery. In full disclosure, I am a 450 scribe, and a 450 tailor.
In the eyes of blizzard’s roll system and your gold bag, there may not be a difference between these books and recipes, but that is both cruel and wrong.
There are dozens of recipes we CAN NOT learn unless we use these books. Just like how blacksmiths and leatherworker and tailors cannot learn some patterns from a trainer and must use recipes, we HAVE to use these books to learn those glyphs! Even our daily “learn something for free*” can’t learn these glyphs. *free defined as about 50g in mats.
Additionally, if you want to learn to make a certain pattern, you can go to the auction house, pick out that pattern and buy it. We have to churn through countless books hoping that the random glyph we learn is the one we or our guild needs. With the exception of 3 glyphs (introduced late in the game for 3.2), there are NO recipes that help us learn these specific glyphs, and some of them are must-have glyphs.
Rolling need or greed on a Book of Glyph mastery so you can make a paltry 80g is a real jerk move, and if you’re doing it to your guild scribe, then you’re stabbing a friend in the back.
As for the battered hilt, I can mostly agree about that as well. The ilvl 251 sword/mace you get is equivalent to something you’ll probably get in ICC10 anyways, so the stats you get aren’t really that much to write home about. Roll to sell is acceptable there, because it’s really just a vanity item that doesn’t have any real impact on your guild as a whole moving forward. (Unless you’re really unlucky with ICC10 drops).
Hi guys… I hate to keep harping on this and maybe I’m clueless and it has been posted somewhere but… where are those hunter macros? Seeing that you guys do respond in here from time to time just makes me a little frustrated that I’ve not seen anything yet.

About the sword. Need if it’s an upgrade. Greed if you merely intend to sell it. Mainspec takes precedence over offspec. This should apply to everything, really. If you’re a scribe, need the book, if not, greed.
