What would you like to see us do online, or out in the real world? What would be an epic move we could make with the show? Tell us what you think – only once – in the comments for this post or on our Facebook wall. Multiple suggestions from the same person will disqualify you entirely.
Here’s the twist: We’re going to give away four beta keys – two to the best two realistic suggestions, and two to the best two impossible/moronic/outrageous suggestions. So you’re going to have to decide which of the two sorts you’re going for, and get it done quick. We will award all four keys starting at 11PM PDT. So you have just over 2 hours.

I reckon the show could be great with an annual call-in show. I know you listen to calls and read emails but this can give the chance for the community to have a chance to talk to there favorite podcast hosts face to face. The caller brings up a topic and you all discuss it
One thing that the show seems to be lacking is a woman. So my suggestion is to take a week off and have your wives host the show. They can talk about pop culture, fashion, motherhood, and possibly what really is on their mind because lets face it everyone is dying to know if the carpets match the drapes.
Also as a starving college kid who’s cooking level is only 10 I am sure they would be happy to share their recipes and tips.
Hey they can even talk about World of Warcraft and discuss which race looks best in tier 10 raiding gear ,which mount looks the best in battlegrounds, and which ones look great for sitting afk in dalaran.
I would love to see a segment, the name really doesn’t matter because the segment is too cool to have any such label. This segment, keep in mind the segment name isn’t the segment for that would rip a hole into the time space continuum, would consist of both of you speaking in ye olde speake (Thou shalt slay thou murloc, and thou shalt looteth thy epice). While at first you may think, that sounds pretty awesome, well wrong again. Now, add on to this the fact that both Randy and Scott must single handidly take down the king of Stormwind before the segment ends (we all know he’s a pushover anyways) before they are done recording or else their characters will forever be given the title “the Smelly.” Of course, using your connections inside Blizzard you could create a buff that fluctuated based on the amount of people currently watching the show. Now you may say, well that sounds even better than the previously stated idea, well guess what, it is this much better. If Randy and Scott do complete said task gnomes and goblins will fuse into a super race and take over Azeroth and change it into a world of the short ones. Choose wisely The Instance, your choice could change Warcraft… Forever.
That was pretty fun to come up with. I am just messing around and don’t expect to win but I hope I gave someone a slight chuckle.
This falls in the impossible/moronic/outrageous category.
Every week after you record the show, make a claymation movie documenting the conversation (similar to Crank Yankers). Full with props (hot tubs), guests, and wacky scenes. Add a Henry and you have a video that would surely see a million hits a week… count on it.
Oh, and then you can talk politics… lol… blerg!
I would suggest a ‘know you lore” type of segment. We often forget people play on Role Playing Realms.
It’s great to hear out what blizzard is doing to improve or change the game. It’s also great having one great source on all the happenings outside of the game, as in, First guild to down “insert boss here”.
I think opening the box on the lore, on ‘why’ we are fighting for the horde or why Ingvar the Plunderer wants to paint his face with our blood. I feel it has the potential to fill plenty of 3-5 minute segments each show. adding some great substance to your show.

I’d like to see you guys periodically do some collaboration episodes with other WoW podcasters. There are some great folks out there putting out some great content. This would be a great way to mutually provide some fresh content and insights to the listeners of the podcasts involved as well as provide some exposure for the podcasts themselves.
Make it better by:….
1. Add a section to the show (like quickfire) but make it from one of your end of show segments. Rotate it around so it’s not the same one each week. I understand that timing with different people would be hard so it might change with time.
2. The video part of the show should be easy to watch post live. Via itunes or Frogpants.com to be able to see when you point out some self
My suggestion for the show is to create a iphone app which will have the show live streamed through and be bale to check all three twitter accounts from the app and be able to see news from facebook all in one location.
Both Randy and Scott and talked about it several times, the World of Warcraft means different things to different people. There are several ways to play, several ways to enjoy the game. Put on a segment, where one person’s experience is told a week. Simply, What does WoW mean to them?
a weekly comic? I love comics, Scott draws comics, why not a WoW themed comic revolving around the lives of your own characters. I know I would love to see henry on a more regular basis.
I truely believe the Insatnce can be improved by making the podcast into a video show. And to make it a bit more interesting, you guys should do the show while riding on a dinosaur that’s riding on a rocket that’s attached to a flying shark who is in the possession of a very large laser placed on his head. I estimate that this will increase your show’s popularity by 10-50 times.
A WoW rehab segment for people that have just gone off the deep end due to extensive WoW playing. Interview people (or take calls and emails) and discuss the persons situation on the show. For Example: “Yes, um, my name is Bloodprincess and I’m a Blood Elf Paladin on the Dragonmaw server and, um, cooking dailys have just ruined my life. I’ve lost my girlfriend and job because I just CAN’T stop making Mustard Dogs! What should I do Scott and Randy!?”
One of the best things about the internet I’ve found is the ability for open collaboration. To a certain extent I feel the instance does do this including guest segments and email. However I feel The Instance needs to take this all a step further and push the boundaries of podcasting and do something really out there. I want to see more video. More user created graphics. There is an entire community out there with tons of talent who are more than willing to be able to donate their ability to the show. Lets get Instance based mini-games. Lets get a podcasting webinar for those aspiring podcasters. We need user rated content. What is it the users are paying the most attention to and why? If forward progress is not being made then you’re stagnating.
I think you should bring a live bear in to the studio and ask it for it’s opinion on feral talent builds every week…. name the bear droodsrock.
Guests. You guys are great but its very nice when you mix it up. Loved it when Dills & Buxley were on. And Turpster. Or you could make a 80′s music video.
The Instance Tour 11. Take the show on tour throughout the states with large parties and live shows at every stop.
Make a new segment where you randy lightly describes a location in game and players have to find it and post a screenshot of them being there.

Improve the Instance? Is that possible ;-D? In all seriousness though, not an easy question to answer. Although there is a segment that I miss, Patrick’s Mod of The Week. Knowing that our favorite Frechman cannot do this segment, I know that it may be tough to do so.

I’ve got two suggestions:
First, it would be nice to hear an interview segment. Whether it be a Blizzard person, WoW related website person, Leeroy Jenkins (ok, not him, but someone important in the WoW community, celebrity that plays, etc. )
Second, being a fairly casual player myself, I do a lot of heroic pickups, but never raid, don’t have any professions maxed, minimal pvp, don’t see me fighting Arthas anytime in the near future, it would be nice to hear something like the Drop of the Week, towards a player like me. Or, frankly, to know how many of us there are! Although, I would guess that most average players like me are also not so interested in WoW podcasts, so I might be only one who cared. So, on second thought, I just have one idea.
