Splendid! Russell and Co. really outdid themselves this time.
Love the last few minutes of it, pretty upbeat and good march tune.
The most intriguing portions of the song for me was the absolute despair that occurs around 7 minutes and the ascension that occurs towards the end. My guess is that they signify the death of the old king and the rising of a new. The accounts I’ve heard all say that the prince of stormwind is somewhere in his late teens now and with those portions of the song feeling eerily human in nature I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case.
This is freeking epic!! I can’t stop listening. I hate to say it but the WoW I play now doesn’t feel this epic anymore. I’m hoping Cata will bring this feeling across the board. Thanks for posting this and show 200 was epic!
I never thought anything could be as epic as the WotLK main title, cause I loved it so much. But this.. Wow! I can’t choose which one I like the most, but this is my favorite at the moment. Listen to it all the time
