  1. Hey, George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher, lead vocalist of Cannibal Corpse, is a rabid WoW player, he even has a quest line and a character, Gorge the Corpsegrinder, in Northrend. Imo, Chuck Norris is a bit dated, but I enjoy the occasional in game homages to celebrities who actually play the game…

  2. Dills,

They’ll also send you anything that was channeled through your account while you were hacked. I ended up with 200k gold and about 400 primoridal saronites and hundreds of other things that were funneled through my account while it was hacked.

That’s what I get for quitting a year before and attempting to sell my account at that time..that much time later and I was hacked and rolled over.

  3. Sorry to hear about the hack, had it happen to me once, it’s gotta suck :(

As to how they were able to do it in such a tiny window of time, they probably hacked your email account ages ago and were checking it remotely. As soon as you got the email from Blizzard saying you removed the authenticator, their software flagged your account as hackable and sent some dude in to clear you out.

  4. Did the Turtle Beach promo have any coupon codes tied to it? Keep us posted on how you like the Z6 eh? :)

  5. I’ve heard some other people mentioning they have been hacked recently and it has been while they were changing authenticators or computers similar to Dills. Blizzard has put some blame on the curse client and mentioned that they believe there is some keylogger action going on there. My AV/Malware programs haven’t detected anything, but it may be something specific to WOW. I frequently get blizz notifications for an email address I don’t use to play wow, but at one time had a trial account under. I am curious if Dill had installed any addons when he was changing computers?

Also curious to get your thoughts on something. Do you think Blizz may have a trainer or NPC in the Panda/Monk starting are that may be named Nuck Chorris with the likeness from the commercial? I think the timing of the commercial could fit with getting some voice work and such for MOP. Just curious to hear your thoughts.

  11. Catching up on episodes.
As Sam mentioned, you were likely hacked a while back. To much of a coincidence.
Authentication ensures someone that has stolen your password cannot get on, till they get the chance.
