Scott and Turpster suit up for a big fat sack of WoW talk, and it begins….now.
More subs gone, but less than you’d think, Battle.net balance is live, optimization tech happened, ToR not hurting WoW as much as some think, Walmart is smoking crack, double your bandwidth, factions and races, Croc is not a croc, and Minecraft goes all Warcraft on us.

You guys made a good point about SWTOR has kind of reignited MMO’s and WoW…I played Swtor for a while and really enjoyed it but like Vanilla WoW, it is still very basic and there are a few things that needed to be added. I left Swtor for a while to come back to WoW cause i know what it offers and will look to swtor later on to see what they have to offer.
Yea I beta tested TOR for a couple months and even bought the collectors edition but quit playing after 2 days. It really was a let down for me. I predict it will go free to play and when it does I may check it out again.

The problem with cataclysm was that the “day before”, the world was as it always was. The “day after”, everything was changed. And a few days later miraculous rebuilding was completed.
Imagine how awesome it would have been if all this had taken place over several months. Month one, major cities are attacked and start burning. The dailies are focused on saving the cities. Month two, seismic activity reshapes outlying zones and releases elementals. The dailies are focused on containing the elementals. Month three rebuilding has begun. The dailies are focused on the rebuilding. I know this would have been a MASSIVE amount of work for Blizzard, but it would have been the most epic thing in MMO history.
I LOVE that idea, John.
