hey i have a lvl 70 human paladin on the antonidas realm and i have a few questions.
1. i recently got my enchanting skill up to 350 and where is a teacher that can teach me enchants past that? im aldor so i cant go to the scryer part of shat
2. my realm sucks its full of assholes and my battlegroup sucks we lose everything, so wat is a good realm for alliance that wins pvp a lot?
So I have been thinking about my soon to be Deathnight and I have a question to ask your show.
I know I want to play a deathnight but I’m wondering about what race to choose. Since I don’t have a favorite horde race that stands out amongst the others I may end up basing my decision on the characters animations.
For instance I like the look and size of the Tauren race but their attack animation of my dual weilding warrior is very boring and honestly lame compared to the attack animations of my paladin Bloodelf.
My question is, Do you know if a deathnight will have the same attack animations as for example a warrior of the same race or will it be different? Also have you heard of any online resourse that would let me view each races animations?

Hey guys love the show. I was wondering if you had some advice, I have 2 lvl 70′s my main being a mage on the Nathrezim realm and also a retired main in a lvl 70 pally and I feel like I am in a rut in the game. My life right now will not allow me to raid and I am pretty much geared as much as I can on my mage with no interest in playing my paladin. So my question is what can I do to bide time until Wrath launches, I already have every alt imaginable ranging in level 19 – 36 on both factions. Any tips?
Hey guys, I love the show and it makes my work day go much faster! I actually have 2 questions.
1. I have a level 68 Undead Warrior on Azjul-Nerub and I just absolutely suck. I have all my talent point in Arms, recently changing from Fury spec. I also have a level 57 Night Elf shadow priest on Stormrage that seems I can do more damage with! What am I doing wrong?
2. I have sent email to Blizzard on several occasions because so many of their instances are not user friendly for the visually impaired. The instance that I can run with no issues is ZF because it’s very bright in there and I have no issues with the color scheme. What other instances are user friendly for the visually impaired. We like to play too

It’s probably something thats just become “part of the game” and people just ignore now. What I find is that there is one or two idiots in almost every losing battleground that love to sit back and berate the rest of the team on what is going wrong and sometimes single out certain people (ie too much Offence or Defence in AV, nobody guarding nodes in AB)Now if its pointing out certain small mistakes like not recapping towers or guarding flag rooms, we get that its not helping the cause but if im already commited to helping the defence or flag carrier im not gonna cross the map or go kamikaze to most likely get killed in the process. I dunno, maybe its just a horrible bunch on Daggerspine who love to stand still and basically be a-hole AFKers the second the BG starts to become a little un-organized or even just close in score. Yes, it sucks to lose but please dont take your BS out on other players who are trying to turn that around. Am I alone on this topic, or this common around the other realms?? AND one other thing, when im bored ill tend to check out places on the map ive seldom or never been to. Venturing through Hinterlands I stumbled across Seradane, now what in the holy hell is the deal with that place? is it a future storyline, instance, patch, expansion idea?
I think there are similar places in Ashenvale and Feralas.
would you guys be able to fill me in on these places??

Somthing they should do for Wrath is add low level riding mounts, im not talking about the ones at 30 no im talkin once you hit lvl 5 you can buy one for idk a couple silver or so, they wouldnt go as fast as the rare riding but you know just somting a little faster for transportation.

So a few of my friends and I were recently talking about how we wish WoW were a little deeper than it is. If you go back and read some of the lore, well, there’s some incredible stuff there if you look in the right places. I’m wondering now if there’s anyway to make the questing a little more interesting. I guess I should mention that my main is a level 48 Orc hunter. I’m kinda saddened because I’ve realized that I’m just questing at this point to hit 60 and experience the new (new for me, that is) content in outlands. It’s getting really tough to stay interested. I even read all the lore-books you find laying around in-game. Any suggestions?

we have healers/tanks who in similar gear to me can actully out damage me?
do you think this is fair allowing a druid to out damage a mage in instances? since we cant tank or heal.
(1st off b4 i get whines of newb im t6 and dont always get out dps by mr fuzzy…but its still annoying to see boomkins or even a feral tank shifting to dps gear and pumping out equal dps with out even specing it same with paladins and to some extent shamans who can melle dps caster dps and heal…….little old my mage i can dps and spell steal 2 tanks WOOOOOOOOOOOO

I play a discipline priest on the Moonrunner server and I have a question about healing. Is it just me or have priests become the lesser of the healing classes? I mean we have all these classes with heals (druids and paladins for example) that are not only more mana efficient but faster. When in arena I often come across a druid healer which means a lose for my team. We try to fight, but they just alternate between bear form and standard form while popping the insanely fast and mana efficient heals. Paladins are just as bad. When close to death, they bubble and out heal all the effort that has been done and have spent a grand total of about 3 mana. Us priests throw up 10 flash heals and a few renews and we are done. Just wanted to know your opinion on the level of balance between healing classes. Thanks for your time.

First I want to say that I love the show and it is very informative. Second, I want to preface my questions with some information on myself. I am a former 6 year veteran of Everquest and was also a GM guide for 2 years. I left Everquest when I changed jobs and did not have the extreme amount of hours it takes to raid or play at end game levels. Recently I decided to try WoW because of friends and coworkers. In three months time I have solo’d an Enhancement spec’d Shaman named Chanu to level 62. My questions revolve around game play and specialization. Because I played EQ for so long I feel I have leveled too quickly without understanding the difference in game play. Like I said I have been using Enhancement and I would like to better understand IF or WHEN I should move to Restoration specilization instead. The other question is IF Enhancement spec’d what stats are really the most important and IF Resto spec’d what stats are the most important?

I just have basic WOW, and from what I’ve read/heard WotLK will require the Burning Crusade be bought as well.
I’m looking forward to any information you might have on Blizzard offering a reduced rate to purchase BC for people who pre-order WotLK, or something along those lines.
Since I already have basic WOW, a “Battle Chest” would not interest me as much as a reduced price on Burning Crusade, since my main interest is getting into LK as fast as possible.
Also confusing — if all I need is a LVL55 character to start a Death Knight, well, I could do that without Burning Crusade…
Color me confused — is Blizzard expecting me to shell out 50-60 dollars just to get into Lich King territory?

I have been relying heavily on the Auc. feature that, when you drag an item to the Aution-tab, fills in the right price to sell it for, as well as a good buy-out price.
Since the patch, that option seems to have vanished. Now I have to manually type in all prices. Wich is a hell of a job for a gatherer and AH-fiend like me. Please can you help me? Where did this feature go? Is there an alternative?

I was just listening to #129, and you mentioned that you didn’t see the point of the hunter class survival talent tree. I play a hunter specializing in, you guessed it, survival. The point of survival is to help you do more damage while avoiding getting hit. Examples:
1. Hawk eye – Increases the range of your range weapons by 2 – This is useful, as you can hit from farther away, at the maximum, this increases total range by 6.
2. Explosive shot – 115-130 fire damage and additional 115-130 fire damage every second for the next 2 seconds. Each enemy within 5 yards of the target is also damaged – Useful for clearing out large groups of mobs.
I am looking forward to this new patch, but the schematics of it were confusing me. I am a ret pally on the server Dragonblight and i am on my way to 80 very slowly as I am currently in a raiding guild currently not waiting for me while they are in Naxx while i am only 78, but i was wondering about the dual specs specifically coming up. I was wondering if you guys had any idea about this dual spec stuff. Just was wondering more about this since i raid and want to let you know, this show is awesome.

I’ve been trying to get gold for my epic flyer since level 70 but can’t seem to come up with any, everyone tells me I will get rich from quest rewards but it never seems to be enough, I’ve pocketed 1500 gold so far and can’t seem to exceed that amount. Do you have any suggestions on how to make gold? Any response is appreciated, thanks!

Hey guys just listend to episode 133, and like Chris d, i am also a deployed soldier to iraq. Just wanted to let you and chris know that if he can play wow unfortunately he will have to pay big $$ for it. There are a group of us here that all split the bill for a satellite. we run usually around 800-2000ms its a little rough but still playable and you really do get use to it and i feel that we are all better wow players for it. I want to throw a quick ty out to Kurt Schilling, for coming out to visit i unfortunately did not get to see him. Keep up the fantastic work guys!

I have been listening to the coolest cast there is but I havent managed to get the last 4. this is not just a local problem to me I have tried 4 different PC’s in 4 different locations and they all staop at the same point in downloading. I know from my searches that others are having the same problem on your podcast.

So I’ve played WoW since release and I’ve yet to have this happen to me until tonight actually. I got an e-mail this morning, from blizzard account management, saying that they detected that someone was trying to access my account. First off I want to say, thank you Blizzard for catching the jerkoff of who was trying to hack my account.
That being said, they put my account on a 24 hour suspension. I know what you’re thinking “Get over it, it’s just a day”. I agree, it is. The only thing is, it was my only day this week to get to play. Imagine waiting all week and finally getting that hour or 2 of much needed WoW rest, only to find that you can’t access your account for 24 hours.
Very disappointed, but I guess the alternative is someone stripping my accounts. Why do people have to be morons?
I’ve played WoW for a long long time and have even played all the warcraft games and have seen basically been through the whole storyline but know since that Warcraft 3 Expansion ended with Arthas in northrend. So, what i was wondering what they would add next, like a new faction called the scourge or a whole area that is like the caverns of time that brings you back through the earliest WoW chapters. What do you guys think will happen next for WoW.
If you guys could can you guys on your next show talk about the issue of some realms having problems with the instances being over populated and if blizzard is working on fixing this issue if anything can be done at all without letting people transfer to other realms
Hey guys, new fan of your show as of May 16, ’09. After i heard the most recent show i started downloading any other podcasts i could. My question for the show is, with your DPS classes, did you take the time to find the right rotation of spells or attacks for maximum damage output, or did you get your rotation from a webiste like MaxDPS.com? I am currently under fire for taking the time to find the right rotation for my mage instead of finding one online. I feel like there is a better cycle than what the websites tell me, and im just trying to figure it out.

this show is awesome i listened to episode 149 and was instantly hooked. i have listened to over 20 of your podcasts in just 32 hours and yes i stayed up just to listen to them. Congrats on your 150th episode. I would just like to say that i think patrick sounds like caboose from RVB just a little too much. I would also like too give a little advice to people who have not got wow yet. Do what i did get the battlechest pack for £20/$30 its worth it the guide is rubbish for proper hellp but does give you a map of every area so that you know where to go and at what level. i.e i went into the burining steppes without know what level it was but in the guide it has an average of 53-57 so i bailed before being gobbled up and shat out by the elementals. Proper question though, can you buy heirloom items n the AH??

Hey there, long time listener from Sweden. I’d like to comment on something randy said on the last episode.. My main is a deathknight, im the current maintank and guild leader of Vehemens on the Darksorrow-EU realm.. What you said was that DK’s are going to get, and i quote: “Small nerf”.. I’d like to comment on this by saying the nerf is not at all small. They are changing the total mechanics on Deathknights according to the PTR notes. Im currently specced blood and these nerfs causes me to loose roughly 2.5k hp UB (!?), around 1.2k armor (they nerfed the armor by 3-4k last patch aswell so take it into consideration).. I feel like im going to be left out really, they are buffing block to the extent that shield wearing tanks will take up to 2-3k dmg on every blocked hit. The cherry ontop here is the nerf of IBF which was really the center of DK tanking. Chaining cooldowns was the only thing that made ous superior.. And with the same mitigation and LESS avoidance than the shield wearers, the time in the spotlight for DK’s are now officially over.. Paladins will come out to be the best Maintanks from now on, Warriors will be second and druids and DK’s will be left behind. Just wanted to say i did not at all appritiate that comment, allthough i love the show so keep up the good work!
Hey guys, great show. I am confused about the next upcoming patch. I’m and currently working on my paladin epic riding quest. I have already spent 350g not including the large amount of gold spent buying materials for the quest. I am partway into the quest and wondering if I am going to be refunded any of this gold that I have spent. This is absurd how since the requirement has been reduced to 50g, I have effectively wasted 300 gold not counting the cost of the mount itself. Can you please help me out. Should I put up a ticket when the patch comes out to try complaining or should I continue on with the quest because of the unknown release date?

I have taken up engineering after a suggestion from a friend, but I feel It does not fit my needs.
Am I (bleeped) because I have Herbalism already as well? I heard that I can’t “un-learn” it now in order to add, say, alchemy which is better suited.

I loved the last show but was surprised at how you guys treated Buxley as on demand comedy relief segment at times. Basically “Hey, Buxley be funny!” After Randy, off the cuff, insulted him by assuming he did no PVP “EVER” it was a bit painful to listen too for a few minutes. I think Randy owes him an apology for thinking that his radio personality reflects his game style or personal style.
Your show is one of the most professional WoW podcasts that I have had the pleasure to listen too and would think that you would treat guests in a more respectful manner.

Hey guys I just wanted to post a lamentation about our 25 man VOA run this evening where our lootmaster Easychoices ninja looted. We reported him and I started a forum post to let people on the server know what happened. Yeah it really sucked for the guy that rolled a 100 on the cloak that was ninja’d (man what’s the proper spelling for ninja’d anyway)…..
Anyway, what’s your advice and thoughts on how to keep yourself from getting hosed in pugs where masterlooting is the norm? I love your show and keep up the good work.

I currently pull out 60 framerate all out threw exploring Northrend, and pull out 14-15 framerate in both raids and Dalaran. Reason and my question im writing to you is following.
Do you ever think blizzard will fix the really badly unbalanced population on some servers like my old one (Mazrigoz)
Im not kidding when im saying these numbers.
A friend of mine that used to play on that server as well used a addon called Census and alliance have around 180(inc Alts) while horde have +1500 active players/chars playing the most common times when a server could easly have +500 players online.
Reason im sasking/pointing this out is.
1. The Action House is aweful/bad/sinkhole/blackhole that only consumes gold and things will never get sold there.
Only really “good” thing you can find there is epic gems.
2. Wintergrasp is a mess we (alliance barly have wintergrasp at all)
at some period of time we didnt even was close to get wintergrasp for about 2months no kidding.
3. Pugs (heroics and any raid = GLHF) simply put it like this.

WARNING: BEWARE – EMail to Validate Account
Love the show and wanted you to warn peeps about whats going on.
Two days ago I received an email from noreply@blizzard.com with the subject Account Verification Needed. In the email which looks valid there is a link to a login for your BattleNet account. Since it looked valid I went ahead and entered my login information for BattleNet. First of all I have 3 accounts all accessible from the battlenet login as well as a Guild Bank with 4 tabs full of good stuff.
Following are the ramifications of doing that.
1. All of my accounts were stripped and cleaned out.
2. All of my 80 characters – and I had 10 of them were stripped and stuff sold. They all had lvl 232 gear and I assume most of it was sold to vendors.
3. One of my characters was moved to another realm at my expense.
4. Four of my 80′s were deleted.
5. My guild bank was decimated.
6. Blizzard caught one of my characters dealing gold and froze (suspended) that account.
All of this happened in about 4 hours one morning this week.
I have alerted Blizzard and they are now investigating and in process of restoring my accounts. Hopefully I will get back most of my stuff.
Just wanted you to warn people to tread carefully and know about this latest scam. No key logger will protect me from myself.
