18 – 1.Too Much

Join Scott, Dills, and special guest, Garrett W! (Sorry about the weird audio glitch that started about half way through…still pretty listenable after that, but weird nonetheless.)

1.2 lands, and we talk all about it, free time, free stuff, and free love, Bioware gives some new controversy, Rakghoul make camp in Tatoonine, servers merges coming, UI mod seems great to some, not to others, is 1.2 the Jesus patch, where do we go from here, Dawn of the Jedi recommendation, ToR site redesign, and MORE!

Special thanks to our sponsors this week: Doghouse Systems, TypeFrag.com, and Camp Myth!

  1. I have to just say that the “Dirtsmacker Legacy”, are probably just Skywalkers that realized…”Hey, we really CAN’T walk on sky!?”

    Great show, and Great Legacy!

  2. I think you missed the mark on calling anyone who has either a level 50 character or is at legacy level 6 “hardcore”. The game has been out 4 months now and being as solo friendly as it is, it’s not a difficult feat to achieve either of those. Labeling those people as hardcore would be akin to labeling any WoW player who raids as hardcore as well. Neither is necessarily accurate.

  3. I could not find Garret’s “this week in Blizz” podcast on iTunes or google or as a link here. I did find the SW OTR podcast you mentioned on the WoW podcast.

  4. You were talking about 1.2 and if it is THE game changer to pull more people back and new people in. IMO it is not. The game changer will be dungeon finder. Once that gets implimented we can see what happens and find out how much it changes the game. Raid finder would be nice too but not as desperately needed as dungeon finder. Right now I anticipate TOR population to stay stagnant. I raid in TOR, and i love the game, but I still play WoW because of raid finder, social ties, and achievements on my main in wow. I would love to see the codex get revamped and show codex rankings in guild like wow does.

  5. Hey Guys, Love the show. When is the show going to be a consistent every week show. I have started to listen to other TOR Podcasts. But as far as I am concerned I like yours the best. If you are going to be on the top. You need a show each week.

    Just saying.

  6. The show is great, but I’m concerned that it’s not coming out weekly anymore.

  7. I know Scott does about 20 podcasts but I agree in wishing this one were more punctual and steady in delivery!
