1. Big News of the Week: Gates of Ahn’Qiraj or Anthill is STILL a hot topic, as it is causing extreme Lag/Wait/Outages for MANY Realms. This NEW Event even crashed 27+ servers in the UK. Blizzard now even has the Official Anthill Supply rankings available. We also are looking for info/reviews on the WOW Boardgame.
2. Rumors & Scuttlebutt: Upperdeck is said to be working on a CCG version of WOW, and some info was slipped in a recent Q&A Session. Bloodelf Mounts are rumored to be a kind of sabertooth lion or lynx. I have also read/heard speculation of the following… Spiders, Bears, Ligers(they are the coolest), or Pure unwavering streams of magic. On a side note, some people are joking that Draenei will ride huge slugs.
3. Legion of Cain: Want to join us on the Earthen Ring Realm? We can always use some fresh disfigured Horde faces. JOIN US!!!

Regarding the new Alliance race, I have been thinking there is a high possibility it might be the Satyrs. A ‘good’ sect of them who abandon their demnic side or something. They would fit the bill of “leafy” and are humanoid so modeling the armour and stuff would be viable for them.
For those that don’t know, Satyrs were Night Elves, but they were addicted to magic so they took to demenology, and became demons themselves. The Night Elves DESPISE them, but I still say the new Alliance race will be Satyrs.
I personally think the Satyrs would be really cool, and would still be in keeping with giving the Alliance a “furry” race to match the Taurens. I think you have a valid theory there.
The Night Elves are known to be not the most accepting race. Like you said, they hate the Satyrs, thus would probably not be accepted by them. But hey, i’m just still clinging onto the last hopes of the race being the pandaren.
And seeing that guild…At times like these I hate it that i’m on the European servers.

My husband introduced me to the game, hesistantly, as I’ve never been a computer gamer before. I fell in love with it – Dyesalot is my level 60 priest. My husband plays a level 60 mage named Smileyface…
…and my daughter plays a level 60 warlock named Lovekrumpet…
…but the kicker is that my father plays as well. He’s a level 40 or so hunter named Mudge.
Its a great way for us to keep in touch as we live in North Carolina and dad is down in Florida.
Hrm. Probably shoulda added the “we play on Uther” comment to the above, eh?
