  3. Regarding Jay Wilson’s comments, I think it’s important to note that Dave did in fact say he was glad that Diablo 3 failed. It’s not like he was just offering his polite opinion on the subject.

  10. As far as Jay I’d like to say PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA PANDA

  11. Hey, guys. Long-time listener. You guys are great and I know you lead very busy lives outside of The Instance and WoW, but you guys are slippin’ with the news, man.

Scott was 100% convinced he’d be rolling a Pandaren today (8/28), Dills had no clue what was going on, and Turpster (consistently the best-informed guy on the show) thought that Pandaren would only be available to purchasers of MoP.

Am I being unreasonable? Sometimes it seems like you guys catch up to week-old news over the course of the show. Which would be fine if it didn’t seem like you were aiming to be an actual source of WoW news for many people.

Everything else about the show is great. I’m not aiming to hurt any feelings here.

  12. Such a shame to hear, for whatever reason either Iranian censorship or US sanctions, that Iranian players will no longer be able to play WOW. This is a part of the world that has given us so much in terms of fantasy. The historic lands of Persia gave us djinn or genies, magic items, flying carpets, Sorcerers, giants, underwater kingdoms, legendary rogues and the list goes on.

  13. First time listener, LOVE the podcast.

I have to say, though. As a female WoW player since just after beta, I’m facepalming.
Girl’s that are good don’t ask for handouts! =D

  14. Hey there, I’m an Iranian and play WoW. And recently I was unable to log in without a virtual private network connection to bypass the blockade. Living outside Europe, and the crappy quality of lines in Iran was never a welcome thing for Iranian players(We cant play League of Legends as they kick us out because of high pings and i dont blame them). add a few hops in the tracert because of the VPN connection and you got yourself the recipe of pain. Before all these stuff I was playing with a ping of 250-290ms. We learned how to live with it. I forgot about PvP, although i prefer it over pve. Now, It’s next to impossible to take the role of a tank or a healer even in LFR. A moment of lag and you’re done, and scrolling through chat, you see some “wtf tank u on crack” comments. So It is really hard to say goodbye to the game I love the most. The only thing i have to escape from the crappy situation we have in this country is gaming. And they’re taking that away too.
Love the show guys, been listening for a while now.
